Brand identity and digital platform design for a non-profit organization that provides community microloans, supporting entrepreneurs in the Global South to build their own businesses.

Microloans, Maximum Impact

Viewed horizontally, the "Bridging Gaps" logomark represents their unique donation model, their core element: A never-ending donation cycle where microloans consistently circulate within the vulnerable communities. Viewed vertically, it also represents the letter G, which serves as a bridge and literally closes the gap between the two words

In a landscape crowded with NGOs competing for attention and donations, the new branding highlights Bridging Gaps’ difference — showcasing an innovative approach that stands out and demonstrates powerful impact potential.

In shaping the color palette for Bridging Gaps, we drew inspiration from the two countries that Bridging Gaps started operating in: 
Uganda and Brazil.

Balancing contemporary professionalism with distinctiveness, our aim is to ensure our brand stands out memorably in the eyes of our audience.

The brand combines two distinct typefaces: Google’s Figtree, a clean and contemporary sans serif with a friendly edge, and Adobe’s P22 Mackinac Pro, a playful serif that adds warmth, hope, and a human touch. Together, they balance clarity with accessibility.

We designed a donation platform for Bridging Gaps that makes supporting entrepreneurs personal and transparent. Visitors can explore profiles, learn about projects, and donate with ease through a clear, intuitive interface that puts human connection at the center.

Building Blocks for New Beginnings

To explain what Bridging Gaps does and how it works, we developed a flexible and recognizable illustration system based on simple geometric shapes, inspired by the collaboration between the Global North and Global South.
